In common with other nutty liqueur, hazelnut brandy is made by the maceration of grated hazelnuts in pure grain alcohol, followed by distillation and sweetening. Frequently, certain herbs are added to obtain a unique taste.

You will need, in addition to a kit from us, two one-gallon glass demi-johns (code 4132), a simple syphon hose fitted with a tap (code 4096), an air-lock and bung to fit on top of your demi-john (code 5288), Steriliser (code 4068), water and cane sugar.
